This, my friends, cannot be a good idea. Imagine the world's water supply in the hands of greedy investment bankers. They aren't talking about water COMPANIES here, but the actual water supply, belonging to a few select people.

The source of all life is not something that should be sold to the highest bidder. Money can't replace WATER.

You think you don't like paying 5 dollars for a gallon of gas? Well, you can always ride a bicycle to work, but you need a gallon of water a day to live. You will pay or you will die rather quickly.

This is what the rich think, they look at the source of all life and think, "How can we profit from this?" We need laws enacted against this practice, in the US and other countries, ASAP. And we need to immediately adjust our values, because not everything should be a commodity. How can anyone casually suggest that it would be a great thing to capitalize on people going without WATER? It is inhuman.

Christopher Titus is a comedian and he can be very politically incorrect, which makes him hard to listen to sometimes. But I like him, because he obviously comes from where I come from, his mentally ill mother killed one of her husbands ("...the last one, because you don't get another one after that") and his dad was an abusive, casually racist, red-neck alcoholic. And Christopher had the same reaction I had to that environment: "What the HELL is wrong with you people?"

Asking that question, about your family of origin, allows you the freedom to break away into your own society. If frees you to ask the same question of the world at large. How can people do these things to one another (see my last post). And, it does give you a sense of humor about some very dark subjects. Here is a clip from Christopher's latest show where he talks about the need for revolution in our society and why it isn't happening:

And, just because I too want to apologize, one of his best bits ever..."On behalf of Whitey I apologize..." where he starts out saying how sincerely sorry he is about slavery (in a different clip) and segues into everything horrible in the history of U.S. race relations.
