Date: 2012-11-17 04:21 pm (UTC)The reason I'm distancing is that I can't stand the Matt/Moff Doctor's woeful insincerity. He's too childishly fake to me. But, as you see from Idle & Blessed, I have an explanation for that. And I feel I will stick to my explanation until Moff snatches it from me at the 50th Anniversary.
I definitely get a Lost in Space vibe from New Who Two. That's the exact level of writing and acting they seem to be shooting for, in my opinion.
