Got Your Towel? It's the 10th Annual Towel Day

...celebrating the life and works of the wonderful Douglas Adams, author of (do I really need to tell any of you?) The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy a sci-fi story that brought us many, many uses for the towel. You might remember me referencing it in a certain Disheveled sex scene.

And to celebrate...let's see if you can give me some unorthodox uses for your towel. I'm going to use mine to sop up and save the spilled champagne from xlostangelx, gigglesthebloody and Milieva's birthday parties.

And here is a totally NOT WORK SAFE music video "Get Your Towels Ready" by LJ User Decor Noctis. It is a mix of Lonely Island's "I'm On a Boat" and The Pirates of the Caribbean movies. There's no sex in this one, but the language is shocking enough to bring your boss over to your desk.

"Get your towel ready! It's about to go down!" as the song says...

I never don't LOL at this one. And I know there are tons of vids using this same format. But this one is extra special.

On your birthday? You should always have your towel, but you should especially have it with you on your birthday! Spontaneous parties are sure to break out and you won't have 1) a way to sop up and save all of the spilled champagne 2) a toga for the toga party 3) a comfy cushion to sit on while enjoying the picnic 4) a way to smother the fire from all of those candles. :grin:
