I have decided on my piece of poetry for Mega Memory Month. It seems too long for me and has no rhythm, but to some people it may seem far too easy to be challenging. Those people do not have fatigue issues, I think. I like this work because it is by Mary Oliver and because, I, too, am "always trying to figure out what the soul is" and, so, I have decided to commit this poem to memory.

Here's a good idea. And even though it is supposed to sweep the web in January, somehow I missed it. But I think this is a grand idea for those of us with fatigue issues. I also learned a new word today: Acedia. It is a form of depression that used to attack monks in monasteries. You simply can't make yourself care about anything and fall into a sort of stupor. I don't want to end up there.

So, I'm going to spread the word today and if you all want to do a Mega Memory task in July...to keep our brains from becoming mushy...then we will do one.
