...it's pretty sad when I hit refresh on my list, see your post and go "Ooh, another part already? WHEE!"

Only to feel crestfallen when I realize it's not a new chapter, only a reminder about the latest one. D'oh! Silly Kat, leave the poor Rae alone.

I am actually putting together some fanart for you... might be a Christmas present at this rate, but... I'm trying to do them justice. :)

...that I have already sent 16 pages of the next chapter to the beta babes. It is just writing itself at this point. So, hopefully, a new update soon.

And I am thrilled by the prospect of fanart for my story. SIGH! Looking forward to seeing it...but no pressure...take your time.

Don't you love it when things like that happen? When I used to write (way, way back in the day), a chapter writing itself was like a miracle.

While I'm eager for an update, I'm also enjoying the anticipation - I don't want the end to come too quickly! It's been nice having a story I feel that way about.

With any luck, I will have the piece I'm working on done by the end of this week... I've been sketching other things, but I'm not sure how you'd feel about smutty art so... ;)

but I've been so in love with this story that I actually went looking for an update this morning, only to discover it! That says something, when I haven't updated/checked my emails/worked on my own stories/had a real life in a bit, but I went looking for yours. :)

So, I made executive decision of adding you to my flist so I'd know and not have to hunt. :)

That said. I love this story. I absolutely loved the ending of this chapter with the key and I almost cried with the Doctor... and your alien!sex has to be the best alien!sex I've ever read...

I am happy to be part of your flist. I try not to go on about my sock drawer and my weird RL buddies much or to do too many Memes...so you shouldn't be saturated with my posts. Mostly fic and the infrequent rant about television or SUVs.

I'm thrilled you have been enjoying Disheveled. And it's always nice to hear I made someone tear up. ;-> :hands you a tissue from my handy box: Hopefully, more fic and happier times very soon...I just sent 16 pages of the next part to the beta babes.
