Oh my goodness--smoooooth Lee at the opening just about killed me. ;} Fun vid. Mmmm...pilotsex. :D

...as I've told a few people. I saw this song done in another fandom and the vid was okay but I couldn't help thinking about Kara and Lee. Specifically, that scene with Lee stalking toward Kara in the mini and how much it fit "I've been really tryin', baby. Tryin' to hold back this feeling for so long."

But you see what I mean about the jerking footage? It's very annoying to me, in the scene where Lee gets up to help Kara with the toast...and in the first kiss in the bar and in that LDBY clip of her rushing into his arms.

You're talking about where it sort of false-starts right? The jerks I noticed were at the beginning of the clips, just a few frames repeating themselves basically? I'd put money on that being a bug with WMM.

I have lots of fun checking out your vids--you've got good instincts and you keep me wanting more from those two. ;D

And I wouldn't be surprised if it's a WMM bug. I did notice though that it started when the show started being pushed to IPOD users. And I wondered if we could be getting an incompatible IPOD version of the footage.

Thanks for the compliment on my instincts. You have been a great encouragement to me in this creative endeavor but I have learned that I am more like Spielberg than Lucas...in that I'm more interested in the story I am telling than I am in the technical aspect of things. I get sloppy and rush to finish sometimes...when a little more thought (which you notice I DO give my fic)...would make the vid better.

Interestingly, I think I am better know for my BSG vids than for my BSG fic...maybe not because a lot of my readership comes from LJ...but my vid page has 3500 hits now...while the fic page is languishing around 1000 (compare that to the 500,000 on my Spuffy pages...and you realize BSG is a much smaller fandom ;-D ).

I always love your videos. I think I stored them all except for hand me down, that for some reason shows up like the file had a prob after i finish dl-ing it.

I'm glad you like my vids well enough to make them keepers. As for the Hand Me Down problem...it is a version that Bunny created from my template (so the footage would be all shiny and bright). So, it was made with different software than the rest of my vids. You are, however, the first person who has told me it doesn't play for them.

I will ask Bunny why you might be having troubles...but I think it could be that you don't have all the Codex files you need to play the vid. Sometimes you can fix this by simply upgrading your media player (if that's a free service). One of my best cyber buddies...can't watch any of my vids because she hasn't upgraded her media player in years. <<--She doesn't like upgrades.

Anyway, I am glad you enjoyed the vid. And, as always, I'm thrilled you took the time to leave feedback. I certainly had lots of fun making this one. And it helps inspire my fic muse, too...so there are other benefits to the vidding for my regular readers. ;-D

You know what, that may well be it. I had one hellish time setting the audio back on after reinstall from hell (windows sux), and somehow i did it and don't know how. figures. Anyay, it is quite possible that I missed some kind of codec on my way to purgatory.
such is life.
After the reformatting, i understand your friend. really.
