I think that's because you like Nickelback...and MAN they are good for Kara/Lee...I could vid the entire album...but that would really get the Nickelback back up. ;->

Not to mention...repetitive.

O M G that gave me goosebumps! Beautiful cut work ...OMG Seriously OMG i have lost the ability to think. Nickleback has such a grit to them and this soooooooooo fits. Seriously my heart rate is up and I will probably have to download the song to my MP3 for my morning runs! the images are going to be stuck in my head!

I think it does go to the climax of this dark storyline arc as Ron Moore would have it. Have you ever seen a vid pimped on SKIFFY before? And, is so, was the vidder still in business afterward?

ooo well im a dumbass...but i know i have seen vid links before I think Sabaeceanbabe had one on a individual post. I only put yours in the Lee/Kara thread cuz im bitchy that way...to bump it. I will check and see if her post is still up/around I know it was around for weeks though...im fairly certain she even followed it up but I will check.

Thank you for trying to spread the word about my vid...site...work... And I think it is okay to spread it most places...just not where SciFi Net or Ron Moore or his secretary might see it. ;-> They don't want me (or anyone else) downloading footage.

Most people don't know that television isn't public domain. It's a free broadcast for OUR viewing but the ads pay for it. And images are trademarked which is a higher level of bad than copywrite infringement (like using the names and situations created by other people) in fic. If you notice on the DVD's they have a warning about not using the footage...even if you get no momentary gain from your use.

Fan vidders are marginally tolerated because we are a sort of free advertising for the show...but if we get right in their face with it...they could feel obliged to object and send out the cease and desist.

And sure...links to my journal are fine...because...everyone is welcome there...and probably nobody "official" will follow a link anyway.

...I had to take a minute to thank you for the great stalker feedback. OMG...you liked my cut work...no one has ever really liked my cutting before...and I could hug you and snuggle you for that. Because it took frakking FOR-EVER...and it kept turning out sloppy in one place...or off the beat in another...but finally...finally...I posted. And you liked it. So, YAY!

Also...download the song...heck, buy the album. I use Nickelback on a steady rotation when I writer K/L fights or fraks. Because...yeah...they get the pulse rate pumping.

Not that K/L can't do that all by themselves.

I tell you...those ships...they really crack me up...I just wanted to add a little space footage...because I don't use it too often...and I thought it would crank up the heat.

But as I was tweaking the opening sequence...I couldn't help noticing the pumping of Galactica's big guns (I had the full battery in the rough draft). And, seriously, for the VERY first time...having seen it in a dozen vids and several times on the show...I noticed that Lee's gun goes into the "female adaptor" part of Kara's viper during the "beyond insane" moment.

Then...I swear I am not making this up...my beta viewer watched the rough draft and came back with, "Why am I thinking sperm & egg during the firefight? Is that normal?" After that...let me just say...it was a short trip to the tunnel sequence for "get you to myself." ;->

Freudian ships...yeah! That's a freakin' metaphor.
