Here we go again!

Hurricane Frances is taking aim at my county just three weeks after we weathered Charley. It is three days off shore and already there is no gasoline at the pumps, no phone service out and no batteries to be found. Off to batten a few hatches and possibly have a fistfight over bottled water. I view this as training for the coming collapse of civilization under George W...the rest of you poor slobs will have to wait on your baptism of fire until after the election. ;-D

...uhm...well...the shoulder is still quite achey...and now I must hammer and tote and pull again to make our home and the library secure...I will try to be all avoidy when it comes to heavy labor (you know...on the grounds that 'my art' will suffer if this arm injury continues much longer). *Rabid waves her doctor's note*

Realistically...I'm not sure what will happen as my assistant is leaving town...as are so many people...and I must ride it out here.

Personally, I think this whole storm/bad arm/storm business is just an elaborate web of avoidance, woven to delay production of a certain fic.

But I am patient, like the fox. I can wait. Oh, and I'm going to Germany until the 12th, anyway.

I haven't actually counted out getting you part two as of this minute Kes...as I am home right now. It is up to the arm now...and the race against the weather shutting off my internet access.
