Twitterers?

Is anyone still out there on LJ? Do any of you have twitter accounts? I need more twitter friends @LaheylaRae because the ones I have now are being hounded by me day and night.

I'm sure my twitter spree will be fleeting, but spare a fellow twitterer and add me to your timeline.

Meanwhile, I hope you are all well and good. I am working on original fiction rather than Idle & Blessed and I apologize for that. But, we could use a new house to house the Chez Rae household. So, if I can prostitute my talents...that's something. So far, no takers, though. LOL

I always think I should post on livejournal more but I'm a girl with no fandom so what would I even post about? I'm reading and writing more so I could post about that I suppose. Or about LA public transportation which seems to consume more hours of my day than I would like (on the train now as I type into my phone).

I saw you had updated your LJ but haven't had the chance to check on you, yet. And here you are checking on me.

Yes, I have no idea what happened to me re: twitter. But last month I just started randomly tweeting stuff at all hours. Hopefully entertaining things. But...I cannot guarantee that, because I am tweeting in the midst of horrible insomnia.

I could take my doctor's advice at any time and turn off the computer. But for now...it is a twit-spree.

Sorry to hear you are fandom free. But, perhaps, it is for the best. I use it as a substitute for falling in love with real people and having affairs. But...it does constantly break my heart. I need to fall in love with my own original characters. Then, I can make them do whatever I want. BWAHAHAHA! :wink:

Glad you found me on twitter and my earlier LJ Post unfortunately was my first attempt to use my phone to comment here (I pushed post instead of comment or something).

I found the quick pace and the overwhelming amount of information and chatter in fandom just became too much and I removed myself from the fray. I've really slowed down and tried to really take things in and absorb them instead of the current way of consuming massive amounts of information that is not retained or even processed (read a really interesting book about how the brain functions and the uselessness of the massive consumption of information). Plus I have found my tastes run counter to much of what is out there these days. My favorite thing all of last year was Frozen!

I have the opposite of insomnia. I hardly ever stay up past 8:30 pm which also cuts down on my time to do anything. However, I could write an epic diatribe about LA public transportation lol. It really has become the single most influential thing in my daily life!

@DrsCoffeeCup here. I'll add you. I love Twitter. Much less angst than Tumblr or Facebook. I've made more friends on Twitter in the last few months than years on any other social media. Although I met 2 best friends on Usenet back in the '90s.

While I am almost exclusively Teen Wolf and Tyler Hoechlin these days, I still have a fondness for your top four topics. So, I am completely content with following you, but you might not enjoy following me as much. Though, Sterek (Stiles/Derek) is a lovely M/M ship as well. At least, until this year, when we have our own version of Cuddy going on and are looking down the barrel of a promised "death of main character."
