Son of a BITCH! I mean, James Spader, so I'm in. But everyone is upping their game. That FBI girl. A fresh faced Agent Scully. The direction. The shot of that little kid on the boat. More later. The only thing I haven't loved is the Hannibal-Style holding cell. Other than that...love, love, love this show. Watch it. Everyone.

Edit To Say: Done. Riveting. I felt manipulated a few times, but they pulled me back in and they have something that doesn't seem derivitive, even though it is. It runs a line through Hannibal and X-Files and Fringe and those criminal profiling shows. But, the performances make it. What a cast. Jeepers. I can only hope the writers can deliver on this much promise. I don't think he's her father. But, other than that...I couldn't speculate, yet. All, I know is I really needed the bathroom, but I couldn't leave the sofa until I saw the coming attractions.

Me, too!

I would have been happy just to watch James Spader and listen to him talk, but the rest of the show was really good too. I wasn't expecting to like Keen, but was happy to be surprised by the character and actress.

Yes! I haven't seen a good new actress in a long time. Fringe was maybe the last time. I really am intrigued by this character and I found her so genuine, even in the little moments. But then, they must have had her audition with Spader. So...she kept up.

Actually watched live. yes, I pulled myself away from Odd Thomas to watch it live (my eReader might have been low on battery too...)

I did get a bit of a Daddy vibe, but that might be wishful thinking.

I pulled myself away from writing. And I wanted to write tonight. But, I couldn't skip Spader. I just feel bad because I missed Castle. It is so wrong that they put everything on Monday night. The rest of the week is a wasteland.

I got a very strong Daddy vibe, but I think that would be too obvious.

There are too many shows we like to watch. Thank goodness for the Hopper and prime time recording. Castle is on auto record and we watch it the next day so it will skip the commercials. I actually get to watch more shows due to this feature.

Castle is also on Hulu. Usually I rewatch it there. I like to give shows I like the ratings boost. Something else I enjoy is also going to be on Mondays...oh, Teen Wolf, when it comes back. Blacklist will wait at that point...unless it gets a lot better.

I haven't watched it, but from what I've seen (of the clips), it looks interesting.

It was an excellent pilot. I feel, on a second viewing, that some things do bother me about it. However, I also still feel that the writers have a solid plan.
