Okay, I didn't post every day. In fact, I am days behind. So, time to play catch up and do 4 days in a row.

Day 2: Favorite Episode: Without a doubt that was Mystery Spot. I love that episode. I love Dean dying 500 times and I love how Sam slowly unravels. It was a great change of pace and one of the few campy episodes that worked for me on all levels. And I can still remember being pleasantly surprised by the reveal of the evil in it, too.

Day 3: Favorite Season: Five (but also Four). The Kripke five year plan comes to fruition and it is a winner. I loved it. So, Five has the overall win. But S4 is a great set-up to S5 and was moving like gangbusters until the show was renewed. So, S4 does suffer from a slow down. And that slow down continues at the start of S5. But still...S5 is the winner, because you can't beat that finale. Spoiler alert for my favorite finale...perhaps. Then, again, maybe not.

Day 4: Favorite Non-Lead Male Character: It has to be Castiel. Before Destiel, I loved Cas. I probably even shipped him. What ruined that for me wasn't the character but the shippers who wanted to push out Sam. As I said, I'm not a Sam-Girl...but the brothers are the core of the show. I think there was plenty of uses for Cas as guardian angel and his introduction was one of the best moments in the show...ever...in my view. I also don't really mind if the show does put Cas and Dean together, I would buy that. I just feel that the show is about the Winchester Brothers and any other character rides in the backseat. No matter how awesome said character is. I'm also a fan of making Cas mortal. I think they run into the most trouble with the character when he is helping too much or bonding too much. When he was a full emotionaless angel, struggling to understand Dean, I loved him. And I might love him trying to understand how to be human, too. I loved his pain when he tried to fix heaven. But, I don't like him as the Sam substitute or as magic genie that fixes stuff.

Day 5: Favorite Female Character: Oy! So easy to love and hate the women of SPN. They are all the same woman in many cases, that vague, ballsy brunette that we see all the time. I think sometimes she is played by a different actress, but it hardly matters, because she's dead meat walking. And then there is Jo. I loved Jo. She was like a breath of springtime with her crush on Dean. I could relate to her. Charley is cut from much the same mold, only Charley lucked out and is gay so mostly people don't want to kill her, yet. I love Charley, too. But I will always be a Jo-girl. I did truly love that they brought her back for that one episode and she and Dean had some closure. I'm okay with it now. But I still miss Jo.

Yeah, seasons 4 & 5 were my favorites as well. While I'm happy to have it continue past that, it could have ended at 5 and I would have been okay with it.

Also looking forward to Cas as human and how he copes or doesn't.
