It's Vividcon Time Again...the best time of the year!

I really don't understand people who don't like music vids. Unless they are looking at bad ones on YouTube. I love me some musical montage. And some of our fandom vidders are the most amazing, creative people alive.

To kick off my Vividcon appreciation, I found this SPN vid today by butterfly. It is SPN. It is Destiel. It is Charlie and Dean as AU siblings. It is hilarious and cool. And a good reminded about why Destiel is such a presistent ship. It's not my thing, but I can't deny it is in the canon, given this uses lots of canon footage to good effect. None of that splicing of scenes to get an AU point across.

And because I am sort of spamming you all today. I shall also attach a nice Teen Wolf vid that I found, too. Careful, this one has spoilers through 3x12 if you haven't caught up to us, yet. But...it is well done and plays off of the elastic shipping nature of the show rather than to one ship. Stydia is left out, I think, which might be because there is a slight Sterek bias. But it does give us other pairings for both Stiles and Derek...so...more general love of show than anything shippy. And it made me very happy.

These are great vids, of my two favourite shows no less.

I am really going to miss Teen Wolf now though, how am I going to cope waiting until January? Still I do get to watch Season 9 of Supernatural in October. Its never a hardship watching those beautiful men. :D

I am feeling strangely calm today. I think that's what I mean when I said Jeff does us a favor with that lovely slow-coda at the end. He doesn't leave us with too many OMG moments to ponder over the hiatus. Just enough to entice us back for more. He's a very balanced writer. Though...the demon wolf concept didn't work in the end. Still, they can't all work and he did hit a lot of great moments right on the money.

Glad to know she managed to hit everyone. I think that elastic ships is what I enjoy most about this show. And I just read an interview with Jeff Davis where he talks about how Jennifer could love both Kali and Derek.

Oh, and where he tells us there will be lots more playing it close to the vest sneaky Peter in 3B. Playing Iago to Derek's Othello...so...not to worry for either of us.

I am happy you gave it a try. It is an AU story with Dean (the lesser lug) and Charlie (the ginger girl) as siblings. She is encouraging him to let his freak flag fly with Castiel, the dude (actually Dean's guardian angel) in the trench coat.

Maybe you would like the Teen Wolf one better. It is just basically a story about how unlikely all of the weird stuff is in Beacon Hills and how everyone mostly survives the night. Also, there is random shipping of every character with every other character, because that's what happens on TW.
