...can I interest you in Kauai? I never had much interest in Hawaii, because I have had my fill of beaches, but I do rather like the volcanic majesty, so, perhaps I should go here, too...

My favorite moment, the one with the girl running along the road. Oh, to be 25 and fit again! SIGH! I, also, liked the waterfalls.

Watched it. Liked the lush parts; not so fond of the volcanic deserts. (Have you a theme going here?)

Of course, I'm up for the dolphin & whale watching! Any time, any place!

I'm more of a forest or historic city admirer than a beach aficionado. I don't mind beaches, but only if they offer more, and are part of a complete day. Tidepools are great fun, for example. And I do like to swim.

I love to swim...but only in tidal pools...or man-made pools. Sharks can get into tidal pools. I think that happens in one of the Jaws movies. :grin:

What is inspiring me is simply this guy and his camera work. He is apparently some sort of Internet traveler who documents his trips with very good video. I find the vids relaxing to watch.

I do like both forests and historic cities, too. Though historic cities can get me with the allergies. I'm allergic to mold and dust and pet danders, but not pollens.
