Ooh, I can tell this is going to be good. I like Willow's and Tara's characterizations, I think you captured their multifaceted personalities very well... and it's only the first chapter.

"It's coiled pretty tight. But there's a big secret: it comes undone. One of the grad students told me Mrs. K. moonlights as a porno writer. He said she wears a leather bustier under her designer suits and after the library closes she strips down, fluffs out her hair and settles in to write skin scripts on her office PC."

I love this line.

The introduction of Spike is bloody marvelous. S4 Spike may be chipped, but he is still relatively free range (or trying to be) and you capture that very well. His slinking towards Tara is drool worthy.

"He's just trying to cause trouble," Tara said with more assurance than she felt. "You said he likes to do that. You said he's just an old neutered vampire with nobody to talk to anymore. He probably just wants some attention."

I mentioned this earlier, I like this Tara. She may be insecure at times, but she's also very strong and very wise.

I can't wait for more.

Thanks Gobi! I simply cannot do a fic without Spike in it. And I think that this will go to 3 parts...but not beyond that because I have too many WIP's in the fire to start up another one...and all I really wanted to do was kick off W/T for Keswindhover...

So glad you like my Tara...I kind of love her...so she's easy to write.
