Yay! I like all the additions and tweaks. This reads smoother than the draft I saw... then again, I'm less zonked now than I was last night. Hope I managed to be somewhat useful to you anyway. What's going through Wes' and Spike's minds was very clear, and Wes made much better sense to me. Not a great way to give comments, huh? All the "this is better than it was." But you know I dig your writing. With a big ole' spoon. Night!

I can't get over how much I love this. I read chapter 6 with the same starry-eyed delight I read all your fic, and I just betaed it last night!

Spike not vamping out straight away makes much more sense now, and I love that you've tied it to confusion over the role-playing.

I'm all curious, though ... what is a 'high alt'?

High Alt is an 1800's term

I like to use them in referencing Spike. It means mentally out in space, behaving as if at high altitude. So basically giddy but in a slightly dizzy and confused way. It is an usual term to use in Wes P.O.V. but I think vamps kind of carry the past around with them. Here, Spike is like some ditzy high society lady of old.

Hee. I'm so in love with this chapter. Really very funny stuff. I love that we're back to the Buffy/Spike relationship - sure they only spoke for about two seconds, but most of the chapter was the two of them thinking about the other, which I'm all for.

I’m really enjoying this! I’ve always meant to send you some feedback but I never know what to say…
So here’s my measly comment. I’m trying to stop being an invisible reader; it’s harder than I thought it’d be. O.o

I loved the way you showed Wesley’s confusion. Poor guy trying to figure everything out when he’s only got a tiny part of the story. And even Spike confuses himself/herself. :) The dialogue between the two is excellent!

I can’t believe I like female Spike so much! I’ve never read anything like your story. ^_^

That was perfect feedback...people sometimes worry that feedback has to be really long or creative or something. But I am easy...all I need to see is the name of my fic and a 'keep writing this' and I am happy...

However, if someone tells me why they are happy...like you just did...it helps a GREAT deal. For example: I was considering doing something EVIL to FemSpike...one of my betas should chime in here and tell you HOW evil I am...but your love of his lovable confusion possibly just tipped the scales for me...so I will be nicer....

Reader POWER! It's not telling me WHAT to write but telling me what you love that makes the difference.
