And, also, a dog with nearly perfect mindfulness.

Many of you have seen this one on Yahoo, I bet. I like that Oscar doesn't appear to appreciate the paparazzi.

Thank you! I'm happy that people appreciate them. I sort of feel like one of those "This is Cute" email spammers, but, they ARE cute...or, at least, interesting.

My cat Stan was a menace when it came to opening cabinet doors. She even learned to manipulate those baby locks, by standing on them and bouncing until they gave. But she never opened the freezer...well...as far as I know.

So far I haven't seen a single one of the vids until you posted them so I love it!

Cats are too smart for their own good. Dogs too but cats are so devious...

I still act like that with my brother. Me, the kitten, and him the doggy.

There is one incident I would have loved to have on camera. The baby was only about a year old, which means her sister was almost three. The older one was literally fast talking the baby out of a toy. The baby was shrewd enough to know that she was being conned, but just didn't have the verbal skills to follow the argument, much less respond. So when the older one got to the end of her spiel, the baby just hit her.

I pretended I didn't notice. Because even though the baby had hauled off without warning, I knew that it had been provoked.

Big sis was more cautious around the baby after that. There was a lot less sneaking away toys and trying to talk the little one into accepting the short end of the stick. And very little in the way of fisticuffs, unless someone else went after one of them. Woe betide anyone who thought just because that little girl was half his or her size she was a good target for bullying.

Taking candy (or a toy) from a baby can be a harrowing experience. I don't know where that expression got turned around in our collective minds, but is obviously used incorrectly today.

Yep! "Stop touching me! Stop TOUCHING me! MOM!!"

And, always raiding the fridge, of course.

I like how when the cat that is poking the dog hears something negative she stops too look up at, I assume, her Mom person. But, then, it is back to the poking. And that long stare of "What are you going to do about it?"

Okay, the cat opening the freezer is hilarious. I had a dog who could do open the fridge - we had to prop a brick against it in the end.
