Date: 2012-04-08 02:24 am (UTC)I pretended I didn't notice. Because even though the baby had hauled off without warning, I knew that it had been provoked.
Big sis was more cautious around the baby after that. There was a lot less sneaking away toys and trying to talk the little one into accepting the short end of the stick. And very little in the way of fisticuffs, unless someone else went after one of them. Woe betide anyone who thought just because that little girl was half his or her size she was a good target for bullying.

I like how when the cat that is poking the dog hears something negative she stops too look up at, I assume, her Mom person. But, then, it is back to the poking. And that long stare of "What are you going to do about it?"
