A question came up in Vintage Ads

They are high on Jell-O molds this week. And someone pointed out that we no longer make many Jell-O molds. After that, it was a logical leap to this question...

...What common food item today will be obsolete in 50 years time?

I have hope that it will be anything with massive amounts of corn syrup. But, let me see...how about Hamburger Helper? Done. Out of here. Also, fake cheese.

7-layer dip. And novelty cakes of the "dirt cake" variety, where the "dirt" is oreo crumbs and there are gummi worms embedded in it.

Yes! I agree! 7-Layer dip will go. I thought that dirt cake already had gone. I do remember those from my childhood. Never cared for them.
