There has been some confusion about my more traditional use of the term AU. If you are holding off because you think AU means everyone is human...you may now go forth and read. When I say AU, I mean, "Radically deviating from canon." Like in the alternative universe sense of Spike turns into a woman.

In this chapter, it's AS YOU WERE all over again as Buffy, Riley and Sam collide over those Suvolte eggs. And things start to heat up in L.A. for Spike and Wes. R-rated for some language and sexual situations. No Spoilers unless you hibernated through S6.

Hee. Yes, confusion. I used to know AU meant alternate universe, too ;-) So v. glad to see this (though I might not get to read for a day or two, you know I'll be back.

Verrry nice.

One thing I liked that I didn't comment on before was Spike's realization that his fighting style might have to change. Hell, his confrontational attitude might have to change. On the one hand, it's rather obvious, but on the other hand, he has had a lot to process in the past couple days, and it's not like he ever planned on being in his current delicate condition even when he was mortal. It was just a little touch, but nicely placed.

Just got caught up in Sweet Spot. Adorable and funny. Since I just found it I have no idae how often you update, but I hope it's regularly. Especially loved the line about Wesley 'clanking about in the bright armor of his ....insecurities? learning? something like that. Pretty!

...yes, I wanted to show that Wes and Spike were very much alike at one point. Wes at this stage of AtS was just starting to shoot first and ask questions later...just making the change over from nerd to scruffy hottie.

And I thought his attitude was very much like Spike's would have been during those ten years when he was first turned. Basically, they were both COOL but still needing to prove themselves. And Angel was the one they were both trying to impress. So there's a lot of common ground there.

I, sadly, don't update very often. You should join my update list to make sure you get notified. However, I will be updating SS-AU sooner than expect as I am on a roll and want to get S/B together again.
