Let's get James Marsters a job
Apr. 8th, 2004 04:33 pmThanks to Ostile17us on one of my boards...I know James is under consideration for the lead in the new Harry Dresden Movie being optioned by The SciFi Network and financed by Nicholas Cage's production company. Thanks to
ladyoneill I am adding the info to this plea...Thanks Lara!
Let's show the PTB's that James has fans...and is better for the lead role of Dresden than some "bigger name" star.

Come on people...mobilize...James would be wonderful in this role. There is the negative of his height but most people are not even aware of the books as yet...I don't think the anal retentive fans will rise up in protest about James' height because they will be too busy protesting the NAME change (Harry will be named Erik apparently to avoid Harry Potter confusion *snort*) to be bothered and because frankly James can act tall. Right?

Date: 2004-04-08 02:01 pm (UTC)out of the loop as usual. *g*
The lead role...
Date: 2004-04-08 02:08 pm (UTC)The books are not very good but the character (A Wizard on the same level as a Private Eye...very hard boiled and rough edged) suits James to a tee. It would be in the same genre which could work against him...but the role is rather far removed from Spike and would allow him to jump off to STRAIGHT COP or LAWYER or something...which he desperately NEEDS to do if he isn't going to vanish like so many genre actors.
So...go write a JAMES MARSTERS needs to have this role letter...if you click on the link in my post you can just EMAIL SciFi network programming directly. I am also going to drop a line to Nicholas Cage...since I love Nick anyway.
