Would I Lie To You? Post 4
Sep. 10th, 2010 09:45 pmOkay, people are doing well with this. But we do have a limited amount of players on this game.
Answer to the previous T/F question, as last time, behind the cut and below the spaces at the bottom of this post.
I will probably give this up in a few more days...but for now...another confession...
True or False?
When I was in fifth grade, I was the proud owner of a pony for about 12 hours and then I lost him in a poker game.
And the answer to yesterday's puzzler...
Is...FALSE. That was a lie. I did not ever interview Sigfried of Sigfried and Roy. I was inspired by the fact that Patrick Wayne, son of John Wayne was the Grand Marshall of a parade in my home town at the time I was a DJ. But, sadly, I didn't get to interview Patrick Wayne either. It was all just a sad lie. I never have met anyone even remotely famous...no...wait...I lie. I have met someone famous. How could I forget? But more about that later.

In fact, people used to say that there is a picture of me in the dictionary under 'gullible' - unfortunatley most people don't believe that I could be that gullible!
Ooh, question to challenge - what else did you bet?

Date: 2010-09-11 04:43 pm (UTC)But to be fair to you in guessing...I wasn't the one playing poker at this time...I was simply the one who lost a pony. My stepfather was playing the hand and he also bet our new color TV...which I loved and which we had only had for about 2 months.

thinking they definitely might be plotting against the antelope in the zoo with them.

Date: 2010-09-12 05:56 pm (UTC)As for the poor drug lord, I was somewhat appalled by the one who let his leopards roam free but kept his wife chained to a banister railing. I do wonder if that was a permanent arrangement or if he only made a hasty choice under pressure from the law enforcement closing in on him.
