Date: 2010-06-23 12:12 am (UTC)Actually, I get it. I think in order to appreciate soccer, you either have to have played it as a kid long enough to get a good idea of the game, or have watched it growing up. Otherwise, it's just people running around kicking a ball.
Plus, some teams are prettier to watch than others. I don't recommend the U.S. to win anybody over to the game -- even though I root for us -- or England this year.
