Wonder where all that stimulus money is going from the American Recovery Act? Yes, that would be the money that the fat cats in Washington voted against and constantly go on record as hating. Well, here is your chance to see what the money is being spent on in YOUR neighborhood.

http://projects.propublica.org/recovery

Just enter in the name of your County and VOILA...scroll down for a complete list of every small business loan given and every project supported or allowed to continue without local taxation funding. It's amazing. I love these watchdog people.

But what is equally amazing to me is that the banks have stopped loaning to local business...those would be the BANKS we bailed out, yes!

So, on top of bailing them out so that their fat cats can continue to rake in the 10 Million Dollar salaries...which are not taxed beyond the first 105,000 for social security purposes (yes, that would be the same Social Security they keep telling us is headed for bankrupcy)....we are ALSO doing their job by lending operational and start up money to places like Sally's Hair Hut and Ben's Bar-B-Que. And if you think those businesses aren't important enough for your tax dollars...just think of your town as a ghost town with those places sitting empty because the banks aren't loaning money. There would soon be nobody employed to cut hair or baste ribs, because that is our grim alternative in a survival of the fittest nation.

Go on...see what you paid for that non-taxed corporations and the uber-rich got out of paying for...

I don't want to know. It hasn't helped Texas. Bush started this crap before he left and Obama could only regulate it and I guess there's is little that can be done there. Bush like RTD gave us his last 'fuck you' before skipping off into the sunset.
