You got personal so I will return the favour. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia close to 2-decades ago and I'm not even 40 yet. I live with pain daily. I work from home because I got lucky with the right idea at the right time, but if that goes to pot, I'd likely have to go on disability because I couldn't physically handle a 9-to-5 job at this stage of the game. And because I work from home, and got moved to the burbs away from all of my friends and things I enjoy doing, I am very isolated. I live my life through fandom. It's what keeps me mentally engaged. It's something that belongs entirely to me that has nothing to do with my kids or my spouse or my job. I totally grok your level of engagement, and I just want to say that fandom is a better place because you are here. God bless even the smallest hope of a pony. And if we get socks tomorrow, let them at least be very soft, very chic above-the-knee socks from Japan.
