Most of my friends' answers are the same as mine, but one from the mid-Atlantic said hero for the sandwich--I hadn't even thought of that one!

And, yay, someone else who says 'coke' for everything!

Yeah...a bit red-faced over the COKE thing...

...brand name and all. I also say Kleenex instead of Tissue. And I almost said HOAGIE on the SUB one...which is odd...because I NEVER actually SAY hoagie.

And now I have ALL the answers...for some reason when I went to check on yours you had MORE questions than me...so I stole the rest of yours.

I say kleenix too. And bandaids.

As for the numbers on the quiz, I've seen at least four different versions. It's like oral tradition--everything changes gradually from mouth to mouth. *g*

Three things. One, how did I forget "pick up"? Two, our answers for #15 are amusingly similar. Four, how come your quiz has six more questions than mine?

And why did I skip right to four, skipping three? And furthermore, why is drinking fountain still not on that list?

caia, confuddled

This MEME is wierd

I too had fewer questions than this to start...then I went to check on Laure and she had more questions so I added on...you can take some of mine if you like.

I've just had a go at this meme - will post it this evening. The sandwich is a baguette, the coke is a fizzy drink, the window covering is a blind. More exciting English English terms to follow.
