Thanks to everyone who called the White House and their Congresspersons...the law does now stipulate that American Citizens are not to be stripped of due process, guaranteed by our Bill of Rights.

Here is the published law (the section in question)...

http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/F?c112:6:./temp/~c112tfONzw:e578148:

It is subsection d) and e) that are most important. Also, in Section 1032...read subsection b.

One thing that a lot of people may not know is that the Library of Congress publishes all laws for the public using a publication website called Thomas. You do not need to believe what you hear on the news or from politicians or friends or whatever. You can go directly to the source and read the actual document that is law. Or more importantly, things that MIGHT become Law...Bills in Congress. A simple Google search will usually tell you the Bill number...and then you can search Thomas for the various official versions of the Bill.

This one had six versions published. http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c112:H.R.1540:

Here's the search page. http://thomas.loc.gov/home/LegislativeData.php?&n=BillText&c=112

But you can also put in say...2012 Defense Bill Thomas into Google and get a hit.

They did not tell the press about this, but the press was there to document the returning ships and so some lucky paps got the pics.

It ís a time-honored tradition at Navy homecomings - one lucky sailor is chosen to be first off the ship for the long-awaited kiss with a loved one. On Wednesday, for the first time, the happily reunited couple was gay.
