So, I have that cold. The one that everyone had last week, but I didn't have last week. That cold! And I am sore and achey and irritatable. And I hate it. And I have to keep working, because I really don't have any spare time to take off and so I am dragging my ass around. And my muse is not having a good time either. I think I need to start Part 4 of Gum over from scratch...it got sort of mixed up when I started adding in the kids...but then, who can think about Pippa and Company while hacking and sneezing?

The only good thing about staying up all night last night with a stuffy head is that I got the idea to watch Season 2 of Buffy...you know...so I wasn't the only one suffering! And I tell you something...it is still good, excellent, brilliantly written...and yet, knowing how everyone ends up makes it very hard to watch at times. I keep cringing at the cutest moments of innocent banter.

I love seasons 2 and 3. They're really the best to me, though each one has its perks.

Did you cry like a bitch when you first watched Becoming, Part 2? I did. XD

Oh, no! You've got the cold of doom! I'm finally getting over it, but I'm worried that it's turning into a sinus infection. It never ends, I swear. ;)

Wow, I haven't watched my Buffy DVDs in ages (I only have a few seasons). Or my X-Files ones for that matter. I always seem to have too much new stuff to watch.

Aww, I'm sorry. Colds aren't fun.

And GAH! I just started watching Buffy this year, and it's been so hard to watch. In fact, I still haven't even made it all the way through the series. I got to S4 and first couple eps of Angel, and "I Will Remember You" ripped my poor heart out and I haven't been able to continue since.

Sorry to hear you have an acute illness on top of the normal complaints.

I noticed it hasn't stopped you completely in your tracks. [livejournal.com profile] unsung_dw spammed my flist today, and you're mentioned as a Mod. :) It's nice to have a community finding the overlooked gems in fandom, because I don't have the health to do it myself.

This is my feeling exactly! Not having the health to do it myself. However, I did have the ability to add my name to the list of people supporting said efforts. As I'm sure you know, the whole Modding thing is as iffy for me as it would be for you or anyone else with our type of chronic condition, but I will certainly try to support them as Unsung-dw is doing good work.

Rae
happy to see you out and about again.
