Okay, here goes:

'Something Lavender'

It's 3,000 words only, and gives an alternative version of the events of Something Blue. Willow's spell goes awry, and Spike and Xander get engaged.

Things I especially like about it: a) I managed to shoe horn in several literary references into a relentless farce, b) I consistently crack myself up on the line that starts Giles put his cup of tea down on the tray in front of him and sighed ..., c) I found a way to make Spike/Xander slash believable.

BWAHAHAHAHA! So many funny little bits in this Kes. As a person who can only imagine S/X while under the influence of a spell (sometimes the spell has to be cast on me), I found this funny and refreshing. I only wish Spike had poured the second half of the bottle of whiskey down his pants to sterilize the meat and two veg as well.
