House MD Spoilers for Tonight's Episode

WHOA! I mean...if you can't slash that episode...you need to turn in your slasher badge and company tie. There was palpable sexual tension in that moment at the door when House almost got real. And the way everyone just coming right out and saying it. But the real out of the ballpark moment for me was Hugh in the van...when he finally asked about his own name coming up and the fantabulous P.I. Guy got real with him...the way House sort of swallows down the pain of crushed hope...priceless.
Yeppers! Wilson will get him to crack...and I do like that previously blind girl pointed out the truth to him about how sad he was...and the truth to us...that he wasn't going to be a different person once his drug addiction is cured. He will still be an ass. He might be a better doctor, though...and a better friend. Still, he'll be an ass...because he's naturally an ass.
Which brings me full circle...as always to my favorite subject. The Doctor being able to change...being able to love...being able to settle down for a time...being able to mutate into a half-human/half-time lord version of himself...is a step forward for the bigger story. 10.2 is the better Doctor for our New Who universe...because he can understand people...because he can be on his own and stop himself...because...well...for all the reasons that people want to say he's better for Rose. Those are the reasons he's better for the viewer, too. Rose...she should get what she wants...HER Doctor...Ten. And House should get off his drugs and start taking some share of the friendship load off of Wilson's shoulders.
Or...you know...at least have some hot make-up sex. That would be good for Rose and Ten, too. :grin:
