Fall TV Predictions -- Get Them While They Is Hot!

So, enough about Doctor Who already, let's have some fearless predictions about the up-coming Fall TV schedule. Hey, does anybody remember when the National Enquirer had psychics predict what would happen on new TV shows? Which one's would be hits and all?

NO...I did NOT read the Enquirer...I just saw the headlines when I waited in the grocery lines. One of them scared me silly when I was about 13 years old. A psychic predicted that a huge tidal wave would sweep over Florida on a certain date. And that night I was forced to babysit...so I was alone with little kids...waiting for the tidal wave. Seriously! But luckily...they were only National Enquirer psychics--basically some guys with a Magic Eight Ball and too much time on their hands.

Anyway...my psychic predictions are MUCH better...if I tell you there's a tidal wave coming...you can get out your inner tube and inflate it, baby!

So...Spoilers here from TV guide...because I am reading between the lines...under the cut

CHUCK (Can't wait to have him back. It has been so long.)-- TV Guide says a major character will die. Rabid predicts it will be...Awesome. This funny but mostly wasted character proposed to Chuck's sister last year and so is pretty much doomed once we get beyond the wacky wedding episode. Smart money says he takes a bullet intended for Chuck.

HEROES -- TV Guide predicts deaths of major characters. I'm not touching any but Jessica on this one. She died last year...and I say they are counting her. Nathan did NOT die. And I think any death at the outset should be viewed with suspicion. But here's the real scope...and it's one I've been suspecting since S1...Angela Petrelli learns she's related to someone shockingly unexpected.

I think it is Sylar. I think Sylar is Nathan's brother...and Peter is NOT a Petrelli at all. Probably Peter is the watchmaker's son...and he was switched at birth with Sylar. This will free up the magic chemistry between Peter and Claire while still keeping both of them in the dark. What better UST reason is there than the mistaken impression that you are related?

TERMINATOR -- I don't even watch this show...but I'm predicting a return of John Connor's dad...hopping in AGAIN from the future.

HOUSE -- Okay, here's another thing I've been calling...this time since S2...Dr. House gets clean of his drug addiction. It's a story long time coming and it has to happen someday. The dramatic possiblities are legion. And the loss of Wilson's friendship is the one thing House won't be able to tolerate. It will be his wake up call once he acknowledges the incessant ringing isn't in his head. However, those saying this will spell the end of House are completely wrong...I think House with pain issues will be even more grumpy and pedantic than when he was on the drugs. There is nothing more self-rightous than a reformed addict...and House is just the sort of person to push every button he can push.



So...there you have it...my predictions for the Fall TV season. Let the games begin.

And...oh, yes...I still want a Pony for Christmas from Doctor Who.

Awesome?!?! Noooo!! I heart Awesome. His character is the first time on tv we have a character look/sound the part of a dumb jock, but most definitely isn't. He's just awesome. ;)

Awesome is sort of Awesome...but I believe he is doomed. However, do you think of the head of the Buy More as a "major character?" Or any of the Buy More staff but Morgan? Because one of them might die. But I bet it will be Awesome.

I agree that its Sylar but I think that Sylar's mommy and Angela might be sisters.
