...so don't go ruining it for me in the comments...and, as always, don't tell me your 'theory' if your 'theory' is based on concrete spoiler info.

From what I've heard...I would say...

That I am STILL able to have the same ending I think we might have...and also...that we are possibly going to have the Time Lords back, too.

I heard two things...one, that Davros was rescued from the Time War by a Dalek doing that Doomsday temporal shift thing...and how great is that to include such a snippet of continuity? RTD rocks.

Second...I heard the Doctor got shot down just as he meets up with Rose...what did I tell you all about the last minute separation. Lovers are kept apart until they are free to shag. YEAH! :nods:

Anyway...I also heard he's regenerating there...even as Rose is begging him not to do so.

Bet you he stays the same man.

Bet you he bottles up that power so that he has a few more moments with his girl.

Bet you that makes two of him in one body.

So then...we can have two of him...Time Lords split like ameoba...one to go on with the show...and one to go make babies with Rose. I think the hand is going to come into its own.

Personally, I also think Donna is going to do something to realign the universe...build a universe around herself like she did before...one with Time Lords but with no Daleks.

So...here is what I think...Davros has designed a way to build an alternative universe around himself...with those key planets as part of it. It is what he's always wanted...to be at the center of everything. It will be a DAVROS universe.

The machinery of it...the Crucible...will be unstoppable once he sets it in motion. Someone must step into it to stop it. If the Doctor steps into it...it will form a Doctor Universe. If Rose steps into it...it would become a Bad Wolf universe.

But Donna is just an ordinary person...and isn't that what we really need? An ordinary, nothing special universe? Something temporary even?

Just a thought there...that just came to me. Donna is the center of the universe...she'd like that.

Oh...oh...Project Indigo...takes you where you want to be...like...with the woman you love?

I have something I noticed and need to discuss with you and you haven't seen the episode yet. *head desk*

Totally with you on him staying the same man though. That's the only way I can see the episode working with David still the Doctor.

Stories have a certain shape...not many people in television have the power to shape their stories...or know how...but RTD has and does.

Once again, he's given me something that fits in seamlessly...not exactly what I was expecting...but still...perfectly fine by me, so far.

I was going to reply to the main post, but I think what you said here nails what I've come to love about New Who.

Rose DID say that Donna was the most importaint person in the universe... and she seemed to mean it for after the beetle was gone too. *ponders* I REALLY hope your version come to pass! It MUST! Or else the D/R's will rebel, and RTD will loose many of his Who followers. *glares*

Re: regenerating - yep, that was my first thought, too. Well, that he would regenerate into himself, not the whole splitting in two bit (which is a brilliant solution, btw). We know from old skool that Time Lords are supposed to have the ability to control their regenerations (ala Romana II), but the Doctor has always been rubbish at it. However, given the overwhelming motivation....he might just make it this time!

I agree that Donna has got to have something to do with putting everything back in its proper place. I just hope that doesn't mean Rose gets sucked back into the parallel world (NOOOO!!! SHE BELONGS HERE!!!! WITH THE DOCTOR!!!! *ahem*)

Is it next week yet?

And hurry up and watch this, woman!

I think she WILL get sucked back into the other universe. But with two Doctors...he can go to the other universe...and home in time for tea.

This is why I'm going with Rose is already his wife. I think he goes back to the Doomsday beach...and he's the one helping her go between universes right now. Which explains why she's freaking out about him dying...if he dies there...he dies in her universe, too. Because her husband is his future self...much like what is foreshadowed with River...only with the Doctor knowing nothing about it.

So Rose doesn't give it all away...I think it would be very cool if she is revealed to be Mrs. Smith...and the Doctor (and all of us) think she's MICKEY'S wife. Until the Doctor is saying goodbye to everyone...and thinks...hang on...Sarah Jane Smith...my name is Smith, too. And he dashes to the TARDIS.

Oh...you two! Go on with you!

But it is not very bad at all in my opinion...bet there is no Doctor in that trailer released today...bet is nothing but drum beats and Davros plan voiceover.

Because everything is coming up Doctor next week.

After all of us get put through the wringer...of course...what fun is the happy unless you've earned it?

I just added you to my friends' list a few days ago, and am I ever glad I did. You have the best, most logical theories, arrived at with some understanding of story mechanics and/or RTD's brain, and presented without emo!handwringing. My kind of DW fan! Thank you.

You are welcome...and also...welcome.

:hands you the welcome basket:

I do try to make sense of things...often I'm completely wrong...but so far...I've also been happy with RTD. I hope I can be happy with him after next week, too. All things seem to be falling into place for me...as well as Davros.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me...and friending me, too.

Oh, being wrong's part of the fun I guess! Especially this season; RTD has not disappointed me so far, even though some of my guesses were a little off for Ep 11 and 12. The little dramatic moments in the show make up for all of it.

I suppose, if after next week there are things we aren't happy with, we can all moan together.
