I know that the title for Episode 12 is hidden...but some people have mentioned that it is posted somewhere as a spoiler. Of course that could be a false title...like the one for Episode 9. Anyway...if you know the REAL title of episode 12...I suppose you can tell me that much here as a spoiler.
I don't know any spoilers but the titles so far...but since I know the title of episode 11...I'm about to talk about something that just dawned on me.
Episode 11 is called "Turn left" and, for me, that has always tied in to my idea that this whole season has been about the Doctor's journey and his running, running, running lifestyle coming to a major fork in the road, a point where he can either continue as he always has...or have what he's always wanted.
As I was thinking about that...about forks in the road...an old adage came back to me.
When you reach a fork in the road and you don't know which way to go, turn left and follow your heart.
What if episode 12 is called, "Follow your heart"?
I know...I know it's too ubershippy to be tolerated, but it would also be a title they would keep under wraps given the news about Rose.

Date: 2008-06-08 09:24 pm (UTC)"Turning Left" in "Doomsday"
Date: 2008-06-08 10:05 pm (UTC)I'm not sure if you've stumbled across this before BUT...! An interesting reference that may or may not be related to the title "Turn Left" can be found in "Doomsday".
When Freema is taking one of her co-workers to be upgraded, she repeatedly tells him to go through the plastic barrier and "just turn left" or "go left".
Now, this could be ENTIRELY unrelated to the upcoming series 4 episode... or maybe it IS connected in some way? (no idea how though considering I do not foresee cybermen making a return in this series) ...but at this point in the game, even the smallest references in RTD's series catch my interest.
We shall see!

Date: 2008-06-09 04:11 am (UTC)You know what this made me thing of? Instinct and western culture. In North America and several western countries (I think), the right is where you walk/stand/etc. Basically, your first instinct is to walk or turn right. "Turn Left" could mean that someone breaks from this tradition or instinct and something interesting happens.
I just realized that I'm essentially repeating what you've just said. Silly me. ;)

Date: 2008-06-09 04:18 am (UTC)And you could make a case that we are saying Ten must break with Rose and move on to transform...but I think that was what was already in the cards for him...Rose is in another universe...and he's moving on..."I still have a TARDIS....same old life."
Turn Left...break with the same old life...love someone completely...and be a better, wiser Time Lord later on in your very long life.

Date: 2008-06-16 10:16 am (UTC)I think >>> Turn Left is an alternative life for Donna, a 'what if.' I'm speculating this because in the preview Donna is saying things as if she's never travelled with the Doctor, like she's jobless (no longer temping) and drifting. Rose calls her the most important thing in creation, an ordinary human. So the title is 'what if I had turned left instead of right, what would have happened?' In Doomsday the Doctor says universes split into alternatives with every decision. So it's not beyond scope for Rose to turn up in a universe that wasn't her original one. <<<
Not very shippy, but I think the actual reunion will be better than any episode title.
