DW again...Moffat...and a blog link
May. 22nd, 2008 09:39 amI must say this STAGE blogger sums up my feelings on the change very well.

I do hope RTD gets to wrap up his Rose/Doctor love story in a happy ribbon, because things are going to change and change goes down better when one song has clearly ended well. I can think of nobody better than Moffat to take on the task of stepping into RTD's boots...but I also think that there will be some jarring to the fandom when we make the tone switch. Even people who love Moffat's work might find they long for the emo and the overarching storylines that they've enjoyed with RTD. The break year is a very good idea, as I've said and hopefully, it is a break year to happy purpose.

Complete make-over as in new editors, cinematographers, etc., the whole shebang. That'd be intersting to see.
