rabid1stOkay...I'm not going to go back on my she's the Rani tangent again...but you have to admit that's quite the name she's got hanging on her.
Let's talk about something from Episode #4 under the cut...
This is about Martha Jones and how Donna notices that Martha was married and also that she has become a soldier. Again, I feel that Donna is noticing a bit too much and passing a few judgments on the Doctor and his lifestyle. This puts a lot of pressure on Rose to live up to a much higher standard than anyone else...if, indeed, she's the Doctor's true love. I do hope RTD can deliver on that. The alternative of course is that she's been crushed by her responsiblities and living alone and the Doctor has ruined everything he's ever touched. But, I believe still that RTD will have Rose be the exception to the rule rather than the norm. I haven't been happy with the Martha or Jack development...I hope Rose rises a bit above their standard and lands closer to the Doctor's standard.
