A Massive Friending...what can it mean? Also, DISHEVELED

Okay...lovely people. I'm sure you know I love you all. And many of you have heard me lament my sad lack of FList use. However, I recently Flocked a post and then realized that many of my regular readers wouldn't see it, so I unFlocked it. This prompted someone to poke me for inclusion on the FList...and I thought...what the hey! So, I went through the list of people who have Friended me and checked every box by a name I immediately recognized.

What does this mean? Not much! It means the people I checked probably comment a lot on my fic...or left me a comment that stood out in my mind...or they have a really familiar sounding username. :snort: I know, I'm terrible. If I should have friended you because you always comment and how could I forget you...please prompt me here and I'm put you on the list. I never post state secrets or personal scandal or anything...so you won't be missing much not being on this list. And it certainly has nothing to do with my level of affection...which long time buddies of mine will tell you is very cat-like in any case.

Also...Disheveled...le sigh! The beta babes were standing by with their hands out for it. But I failed to deliver it in time last night...now it doesn't look like I will get it in before this weekend erupts in New Who Squee. So, everyone stand down until next week, I think...when we will hopefully wrap this puppy up. Kes and Caia...I might get it to you two this weekend...as I know you won't really be wrapped up in the New Who Extravaganza-Palooza!

I giggled a bit when I read this, as it's precisely what I imagine will happen. The opening theme song will play, and, if you open your window, you will hear the squees of a thousand fangirls (and fanboys). It will be like the gentle chirping of the spring birds. Only, you know, not gentle. Or birds.

It reminds me of the X-Files. I'm not sure why. Was that the name of an episode? Or is it like the name of an episode? Am I thinking of the Tuskeegee Airmen?

Oh good, I thought I was the only one. I recently started re-watching the show with a friend of mine (we started with season 4 and are now beginning 7) and I'm liking those eps a little more. They seem a lot easier to understand this time around... maybe cos I'm older, wiser....

The squeeage level here is very low, alas, as I'm the only person I know around here who has even HEARD of DW. And of course we in the US have to wait a bit longer before we get S4. The Titanic extravaganza will make it to our screens on 18 April with S4 proper beginning the Friday following. I'm not really complaining, though - compared with the many months we had to wait for S1, a few weeks is nothing! :-D

I hope that the start of S4 won't delay the next chapter of Disheveled TOO much! I'm starting to experience serious withdrawal symptoms over here!

For now I don't want anything to interfer with my Doctor Who obsession. I've seen clip, but I haven't delved deeper into the show. I'm happy to hear you have subscribed to my youtube faves. I have tried to work on a vid or two but had no luck with S3...I really didn't like that season. I'm hoping for better things from this one.

Truthfully, the low-level building frequency of squee is starting to disrupt my concentration anyway. I'm not sure I can manage to get the chapter shaped up in time to keep from being overcome by squee myself. I find myself dancing an impromtu jig every so often today.

Thank you for the befriendment! I hope all is well with you. Not been on the internet in ages, real life been a tad busy, so I have found loads of wonderful stuff when I finally logged in LJ. Wild Geese, wowser, I love it! Such a lovely, gentle, awkward piece that had me giggling and shouting at my pc at the interaction of our wonderful couple. And then the friend adding and then more disheveled on the way. I am excited beyond measure with this new and the show returning on Saturday.

I am not a writer of any decent measure so have not posted anything, my account is bare and not used, so I would just like to thank you again for befriending someone who takes and gives no little gifts in return. Some times I feel like a bit of a fraud here on LJ, taking, taking always with the taking and giving NOWT in return, so again, thanks for the fabulous worlds you create, it keeps this old scottish lass happy!

Thank you so much for the kind words about Wild Geese and Disheveled. I really enjoy creating these worlds for myself and others. Rose and the Doctor bring me a lot of joy with their happy babbling and their awkward, adorkable love story. I do hope that we get a happy for her lifetime scenario for them.

Hi,I just wanted to say that you are a fantastic authir and I love your work,especially the Dishevelled series which I read in one entire night and probably should of gone to bed because I was tired and it was like 2.00am in the UK but by the time I was half way through I couldn't stop reading it because I was hooked.
I think I commented on the whole thing at the end or around chapter 22 because that was how far you had got at the time.I think I have read it at least twice,don't ask me why ,probably because I wanted to get a better understanding of it.Anyway I probably should have commented on a lot more of your work than I have especially Wild Geese which I throughly enjoyed too.The only excuse I have is that my computer hates me and likes shutting me out of the internet or won't allow me to click on links and not respond to me,I swear the thing has a mind of it's own.It's probably been taken over by aliens.
