I just watched it twice in a row. The first time, I just couldn't help smiling through the whole thing at all of the wonderful clips of them having so much fun and laughing and being in love. Then I watched it again and really paid attention to the lyrics of the song and it kinda broke me a little. No tears (which is unusual for me), but it's all so bittersweet. Great rec.

I think it was the smiling through the whole thing that made me cry. Usually people doing sad vids go for obvious sad images and that does really move me. But here, it really touched me for the same reason the entire storyline touched me...because he really loves her and you can see why. She's sunshine in his sunless life. And without her...it's back to darkness again. Sure, he can live in the darkness...but I really want him to have a full bask in that warmth and light.

I think he deserves to have the life he's never had...and to have it with Rose.

Ah...same song! Drat! I know I will cry. I think that song is so perfect for the Doctor's understanding of Rose. And it looks to be a better done vid, too. I only wish I wasn't currently writing serious porn...will watch soon and get back to you. Thanks for the linkage. And I'm very happy you de-lurked. :hugs:
