Say you are a BSG fan...go on...say it!

And then...say you've heard I have some BSG fiction...Kara/Lee...rather steamy. But you can't find it when you click the tag that says "Fiction-BSG" because, mostly, I just learned about tags this year.

Now...say I have gone back through the archives and found all of the Nugget Slang series...and put it under the Fiction-BSG tag for you.

Say...Wow! That must have taken some time!

It did. And here is the collected links all in one spot for you, too.

SHOOT YOUR SHADE:

ICED:

And, how could I forget there was a coda to Iced, titled, RESTRAINT.

I am lame. Sorry, about that, folks.

RESTRAINT...the ICED coda

don't say anything about Minotaur. I know you want to...(yes, I'm looking at two of you in particular) but just...SIGH!

You are the soul of consideration.

I know you want to ask. But I appreciate the stiff upper lip.

Of course! I'll wait patiently for as long as it takes.

And no, that's not supposed to be a threat. ;)

She says...tapping the blaster at her side. HMMM?

:hee:

I really do wish that when BSG comes back my Minotaur Muse returns, too. All I need is some serious Kara/Lee interaction...it was hard to maintain interest last season.

No kidding. But from comments that KS and JB made at the con last year I have small hope of some seriously awesome interaction, even if it'll probably be brief. Have you seen the new trailer? *swoons*

There's a new trailer?

I have not seen it. Do you have a link in your back pocket?

If not, don't worry. I can find it, I'm sure. It will be on ASF for one thing. I'm still a member there even though I simply delete the digests unread, now. But I did peek in the other day just to see what the new date was for broadcast.

I believe you-ness
Yeah I am a member but I never read the digests anymore either. I pretty much gave up all fics except for your's and one other author who also no longer seems to write for the ship. It's rather traumatic but I'll survive. And hold the phone, you wrote for the X-Files fandom?!?

Oh...that IS a nice trailer

And how heartwarming it is to be one of the few writers you still read.

Also...yes, I did write for the X-Files fandom...but sadly none of it survives. Back then...I wrote in a cooperative bulletin board and it failed and died. What we did were round robin stories. Someone would start it off and when you popped on you could add to it in the next post.

I still remember it fondly because I think they rather relied on me to fix the storyline every so often. It would wander off into some outlandish situation where Krycek had a talking dog with pockets in his fur and alien implants and Mulder was cross-dressing. Then, I would set it back on coarse again...and for a time it would go along okay...then Scully would become a chorus girl at Dollywood.

Lots of fun.

It's just so pretty... face touchage!

LMAO! At least she wasn't a life guard at Dollywood Splash country and ended up rescuing Skinner or something equally traumatizing. ;) Aww, that's really tragic to hear it didn't survive but its nice to know yet another fandom we share. They just wrapped shooting in town for the new movie yesterday so no more possibilities of sightings for me. Can't wait for BSG and Supernatural to start filming again though. :)

Yeah my standards for fic went outlandishly high and I actually decided I would only read stories that kept Kara and Lee true to their characters which really limited my options. I'm quite happy reading your DW stories in the mean time though.

Ah...someone knows me from the Fallout Shelter. I have some old fans from 2005 that followed me to Dr. Who...but it dawned on me I might have NEW fans that didn't know I wrote BSG or were frustrated by the loser tags.

Glad to link you up. And it did take some time...because I didn't mark them at all. Silly Rabid!

I came a little late to the BSG party. Last season was the first I watched as it aired. So I had plenty of reading to catch up on. I'm still being surprised when fandoms collide.

Tags (or at least post titles) are your friends. ;-)

I find it amazing that fans of my Spuffy fiction are finding me in Doctor/Rose. And there are plenty of people who just moved along with me as I went...people who loved BSG, too...or people who didn't like BSG but came back to read when I started up in Doctor Who. So, really...I think the online fandom is rather small. RTD is right about that.

And I've been to other forums, too. I mean...I was on Fanfiction Net until it went NC-17 free. I was on the Proxima servers for X-Files. I've been Rabid1st forever...and I keep meeting new people...but I also keep running into the same core folks.

Great! I no idea you wrote any BSG. I've read the first part and I'll be reading the rest when I get a bit of time.

I'm happy I could help you find something new to read. This whole series is rather dated as I wrote it during the S1 to S2 hiatus...when Kara/Lee were still lots of fun to write. I am afraid I am no longer a big fan of the ship. But I will watch the show until it ends...and hope for a better resolution than I am expecting.

Let me know if you like the fic.

Oh no, I have indeed read them. But I didn't know they were yours when I read them, nor could I find them again the last time I went looking for them because I couldn't recall the titles. But now I know where they are and will happily read them again, albeit tomorrow because I just got the small son into his crib and now I'm utterly cream crackered for the night. But yay! Awesome fics to re-read!

I guess I can't be disappointed in a re-read. I'm happy you enjoyed them enough to wonder where they disappeared to. Thanks for the "awesome." I really enjoyed writing these...Kara/Lee used to be so fun.

The problem with finding these was they were only on LJ and not tagged. I had a glitch in my webpage when I was doing vids...and had to redo the whole site (it just stopped working)...so I made it all Doctor Who...and figured I would go back and do a BSG page later. Here it is 2 years later...and I, too, had lost all the links.

Anyway, get some rest and then enjoy.

OMG, I remember this!! I read your BSG fic before moving onto your Doctor Who one. :)

For some reason, even though your fic is Lee/Kara focussed, I cannot get the image of Gaeta & Helo mountain climbing out of my head. That's just such a memorable mental image.

And it is the one bit I wanted to do as a seperate fic, too. Probably because I always thought there was more to Gaeta than met the eye.

Thanks for the kind words, re: Iced!

I've read everything you've listed up there. But, I'm a hardcore Gaeta fan. So any mention of him tends to stick out to me. :)
