HELP!! New LJ Layout makes me crazy!
Feb. 15th, 2008 02:57 pmOkay...so...my old LJ layout was pretty but way too busy. So I thought I would streamline.
However, I seem to have lost my tags feature and I can't find out how to turn it back on. No TAGS for you!
Does anyone know how to add a TAGS link to the top of the page so my readers can find Disheveled and other things easily? Is this only available in certain styles? How inconvenient would that be! Sheesh!

Date: 2008-02-15 10:45 pm (UTC)There's no option to turn the tags off, but you can change the order of where it goes all around. Also, you can set the limit of tags to display...maybe you set that to 0?
Hope that helps!

Date: 2008-02-16 02:40 am (UTC)This might be because the current layout doesn't have a sidebar. Tags are usually displayed in the sidebar.
1. User info
2. Customize Journal
3. Choose layout
4. Once you’ve done this, Select “customize selected theme”
5. Click on Sidebar
6. Turn on the tags and select the view
7. Click on ‘save changes’.
If things don't display, it's because the sidebar items aren't ordered properly. You might have to fudge with their order.

I will see if it is more trouble than it is worth.
