Virtual Celebrity Amazing Race Update

rabid1stMuch as I hate to say it...the race is officially OFF!
I am sorry to tell you my heart just isn't in this anymore, too many bad memories.
As some of you already know...my brother passed away two weeks ago. It was sudden and completely unexpected. I was working on my Amazing Race update that night (while everyone was trying to reach me by phone) and was just about to sign off the internet when the knock came at my door. Odd to think I was so upset about writer's block (my entry-muse was being stubborn) just a minute or two before that knock.
My brother was always very supportive of my writing and LJ fun and I had hoped to regroup in a week or two but it hasn't happened and frankly I don't see myself working on this project again anytime in the near future. But I wanted to thank everyone who participated. You people are so flippin' amazing. You have no idea how much it cheered me up to read your commentaries: Aeryn Sun and Agent Scully, Xena and Captain Jack, Ash and his chainsaw hand, the King and the Queen...all of you...A-MAZ-ING.
Those of you who didn't play along and haven't waded back to my previous entries and read the truly inspired entires by my LJ Friends...I invite you to wade back now...because the V-CAR camera-crews were really overachievers when it comes to reporting on their teams.
