1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Started a walking program with my sister.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don’t remember what it was. And I’m sure I didn’t since it was either to work on my original novel or to get in better health via diet and exercise.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My niece by marriage. Baby Kathleen.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
We’ve all made it through to this point anyway.
5. What countries did you visit?
Nada, Zippo, I didn’t even travel around my own country.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Better health and a savings account.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I try not to etch things on my memory.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Changing jobs. And Disheveled. 410 pages at the moment. Two chapters to go.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to regain my health. I feel like I spin my wheels.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just kept the same one. Had a few scares with it. And a bad tooth at Christmas.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A dining room table.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
One of my nieces got married and good for her. Jan puts up with me and that is earning him his angel’s wings, I’m sure.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My own, at times, I don’t take proper care of myself. And fans of a certain character that didn’t really like her as she was written.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Down the drain. Medicine, doctors, medical tests and eating out.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Billie Piper back on Doctor Who. YAY!
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
For some reason—Tainted Love. Actually, I think it is because I go to Tennant Love and started singing it for him.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier, I think. Less stressed.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner, by about 16 pounds.
iii. richer or poorer? Very slightly richer.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Cooking at home and exercising

Eating out.
20. How will you be spending/did you spend Christmas?
I had a toothache and a head cold. I spent my holidays hibernating and working on Chapter 24 of Disheveled.
22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
I fall in love every year-- both with my sweetie and with someone I’ll never meet (because love is wonderful even if fictional)...This year I loved Rose Tyler.
23. How many one-night stands?
Well...sadly...I do not believe in one-night stands. I believe in nightstands if that’s any consolation. And I’m having a long, imaginary affair with David Tennant...we meet in secret but I’m quite loyal to him.
24. What was your favourite TV programme?
Doctor Who!
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
*thinks* No...I'm not a big hater.
26. What was the best book you read?
Oh...I read something really good...what was it? Kiki Strike: Inside the Shadow City by Kristen Miller...there’s a sequel coming soon. YAY!

28. What did you want and get?
Lots of things. I am very blessed. But let’s see. A nail-care kit that makes your nails so shiny with no chemicals. And a computer with a huge hard drive. This is my life actually...want = get. I’m a spoiled American, I think.

If I had finished an original novel.

J.Jill is the best place to shop. And why are there no shoes in my size?

Writing. Chatting with Kes and the rest of my IM buddies, Jan and an occasional visit with my totem animals.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
David Tennant! Yeah! He’s a really good imaginary lover. But Billie Piper is up there in the running…due to my Rose Tyler love.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Environmental Care. We seriously need universal health care, too, and quality education. If the world wasn’t in such distress, I’d say getting our people educated takes priority over everything else…because this country…is going under if we don’t fix that problem ASAP.

My nieces. I need to call them more often. Write. Send funny cards. And my friends Debbie and Michael who I haven’t seen in forever.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Aubrey, who was here and gone like a summer cloud. Though, all of the people at my new job are wonderful.

Having this illness is part of who I am, I need to deal with who I am, not who I wish I could be.
