I suspect they just want more Disheveled! And are not above bribery. ;->

LMAO! And I don't even watch The Office. Many thanks to my beta babe and buddy, Jei, who does, for this link. I think I might have to get me one or two of those.

[fights the urge to say the reply that this statement is just begging for] [gives in to the urge]

Well, NBC Universal isn't the only one who wants more Disheveled . . . ;-)

And, hee!! Don't you love it when you get another sign that really fandom is just one big universe with a lot of planets, rather than each fandom existing in a vacuum?

Funny thing is, that's the only episode of The Office I've ever seen.

Seconded on more Disheveled. Even if it's currently in a, um... disheveled... state.

I'm beginning to think that's what I'll be giving you...disheveled Disheveled. If I can't make it work...I will just post it as is and you will all have to forgive me my trespasses.

You know what would be fun...to make a folder of all my aborted chapters...there are about 30 of them. So you guys can see what a mess this transition turned out to be.

I'd buy a 'Support the Rabid' wrist band anytime.

I was thinking more of champagne and moonlight for that, rather than wristbands.

*snicker* I just watched that episode!

I was doing the NY Times crossword from last week and "Disheveled" was one of the clues. Unfortunately, "Best Fanfic in the Universe" had too many letters. ;)

I never watched The Office either, but that's funny.

BTW you should try and get hold of the new BBC novel, "Wetworld". Although it's officially Ten/Martha, it also involves a LOT of talking otters. Honestly. And the Doctor in it is written quite brilliantly.

I have vowed to buy no Martha novels. Is she very wet in it? Does she moon about or act like a doofus? I love me some brilliant Doctor but not at the expense of Martha mooning or swooning.

Would your muse be amenable to convincing mine to work again, too?

*fails at fic*

I just printed out the artwork from "Disheveled", the picture where Rose is giving the Doctor her key, for a magnet this past weekend. It's here in my cube, with the postcards and dice and other magnets (in fact, it's right up next to the picture of Chem!Ten that [livejournal.com profile] hobbit_hunter made for [livejournal.com profile] doona_rose's Chemistry series ages ago).

It makes me feel all happy whenever I look at it. It really was a beautiful moment in their story. ♥

One of the latest DW novels is filled with otters, by the way. Heh.

I'd buy that. I don't even watch the Office, and I'd buy that. If only to get more Disheveled. I'm thinking at this point some of us might be content with your dirty laundry. :)

I know things are getting desperate out there...

...in Disheveled land...but the latest bit of news re: Billie has my muse all excited once again. She is hearing the Doctor again.

Rae
From: [identity profile] tsukara.livejournal.com
\o/ That's great news! Now if only the bit about Billie were confirmed by someone concrete and reliable. *hopes*

Glad to hear that the muse has re-established communication with the good Doctor.

And, how can you have not discovered Jim and Pam yet?? Watching them just gives me so much glee because of how cute they are.

Truthfully, I can't get around Steve Carrell's character. I've never been much of a fan of the "guy you love to hate." Never found All in the Family funny or Becker. I did like Fawlty Towers. And I like House but in both of those cases I actually LIKED the guy I was supposed to hate. Loved Basil and adore Greg. Think they both need to be netted and put away...wouldn't want to go within miles of them...but found them endearing still.

I love House too. And, I love Cuddy and Wilson. Not too crazy about the younglings though. I stopped watching for a bit last season because I got bored of the show. But, this whole Survivor/hiring-a-new-team bit renewed my love for it.

As for the Office, I still think you're missing out on the awesomeness that is Jim and Pam. It's hard to describe, but they're pretty much my favourite ship on TV right now. One of the few ships that I show my allegiance to in fact. I think it'd be devastating if those two weren't together at the end of the series.

These videos/music videos should give you a feel for the relationship.

The Office Love by Esquire
The Jim/Pam themed NBC trailer
Pam trailer for season 3 finale by Wateriswide

Some of my favourite Jim/Pam moments:

Pam gets drunk and giggles a lot
The infamous 27 seconds of silence
The internship --> I love that Jim just has to look at Pam to know what she's thinking.
Jim and Pam play a game of jinx
Jim's heartstopping confession and the heartbreak that follows --> I thought Jim's bravery here was pretty romantic. Of course, this all functioned to put the two characters back at square one.
Pam's coal walk and her confession --> The get the excited feeling behind this scene, you really have to watch the entire episode.
It's a date!!!
This was from last week :)
