Disheveled Book Cover

As we move into the final stretch of the fic...chapter 19 of the 25 or so that we should end up with...posted. I received this lovely gift from frodolass.

I simply love the use of the symbol with the realms of time cluster behind them...and then there's Rose dancing with the wind...and finally, that sultry, teasing look from the pair of them in the clinch.

They look like an affectionate couple who are truly comfortable and relaxed with each other. I don't think I've ever seen the Doctor looking that simply happy before. He looks happy and satisfied and proud.

I think I've seen that picture before...so I have seen him that happy...but I do like the way he looks in reference to Rose. As if he's never been so satisfied...yes.

Frodolass is certainly talented. It's a lovely tribute to the story.

Don't you think he looks proud to be with her? Proud and possessive, confident and happy and relaxed, just a little bit mussed around the edges ... looking the camera in the eye, a smile on his lips, his body language saying, "She's my woman. Isn't that fantastic?!"

It looks like a picture taken of them after a long and happy day together. As if they'd been to some kind of outdoor get-together, sitting in the sun, one always touching the other, drinking something made from white wine and fruit juice and chatting with people, and now it's evening and they're mellow and happy and about to go home. (He's put his tie back on.) Somebody's taking pictures, and they pose for a moment.

...THAT scene! ;-> Very Tahiti-sunset-esque. Or Barcelona-ish. They are going to pub in the next chapter. And maybe for a walk along the beach. I can see them stopping to pose like that...yes, and he does look happy to be with her...proud and possessive and confident as you say. Which is very true to the story.

Without a doubt she's his woman. And I think he was very proud of her...you could see him just glowing sometimes when she was taking care of people. David Tennant did a marvelous job of letting the love light shine whenever the Doctor looked at Rose.
