Because the world needs more Captain Jack Fic.

This ficathon is dedicated to Torchwood fics, Doctor Who fics, and fics that are crossovers between the two. The theme for our first year:

CAPTAIN JACK HARKNESS

All fics written for this exchange must include, if not feature, Captain Jack in some way, shape, or form. They can be pre-Empty Child, post-End of Days, or anywhere in between. They can be het, slash, alien, threesome, or moresome; romantic or not. All we require is Jack!

Please remember: this is a fic exchange. That means if you don't write your fic, someone else is going to have to step in and take your place. Think seriously before you commit to this ficathon.

Signups will run from Monday, 15 January to Sunday, 21 January, 2007. Starting Monday, 22 January, we will begin working on assignments, and they will be out no later than Monday, 28 January (and we'll strive to get them out even earlier than that.)

The due date for your fics is Sunday, March 11, 2007—John Barrowman's birthday! (Yes, we're that sad.) That's about six weeks from assignments to due date.
