I'm so happy to see you all. As you can see, I just updated Disheveled. And I am busy working on the next chapter, which I do hope will be up much sooner than Chapter 14. A month! Can you believe it?

Most of you, I'm sure, came for the fic...or the vids...and don't care if I friend you back.

But some of you may wonder how long it will be before I appear on your friends of list. You may be tempted to think I am ignoring you or have been to your journal and found it wanting or something. Let me assure you this is not the case. I know you are out there and I believe you are all wonderful people who I would be happy to know better if I had more free time.

Sadly...I am a horrible LJ friend. I seldom write pithy posts. And I have almost no free time available. I do not surf the net or read kerfuffles. I do not read my F-List posts. Keswindhover and Thisficklemob, two of my longtime beta babes will tell you they must seek me out and c&p me links to important information they shared with everyone else via LJ. I do not venture out into LJ-land very much at all. I work all day and have about 2 hours a night to write. Most of the people on my friend's list are on it because they have known me forever...or because I link to them and they have a friends-only journal. And I do favor those cute cat communities.:->

So, what I'm saying is...my LJ friending skills are lax but I love and appreciate you all and think nothing but fond thoughts of you. BTW, if you want me to take note of something wonderful you've posted on your LJ...please send me a comment or e-mail or IM with the link and I will get to you ASAP.

And...omg...I love your icon. I have actually tried to do that...as both of my best friends (my childhood and adult one, naturally) are very prolific breeders. And since I am zero population growth girl...I have a moral obligation to lay suggestive pamphlets around whenever I visit.

I was pleasantly surprised when you friended me back - I have no illusions that everyone everywhere has all day to read LJ (like it seems I do, even though I work, huh). But I neither expect nor require comments or friending from busy people - I usually just friend people because I want to keep up with them, regardless of whether or not they friend me back.

...and anyways, most of my posts are long-winded ramblings about absolutely nothing at all (as illustrated with this overly long comment!). With, you know, the occasional smutty artwork thrown in for good measure. ;) So yes, completely uninteresting!

Or...artwork. Another way to get me to instantly friend you as I must then send people to your site to admire you and your work. However, as you quickly discover...I only visit when you hold out a carrot. I am a bit of a hermit, I guess...in my little turret room with my computer, writing busily...with maybe an anachronistic ink smudge on my nose.

Even my beloved is ignored when I disappear into my little imaginary worlds. Luckily, he's as independent as a cat and (also like a cat) able to get attention when he wants it by laying across the keyboard. SIGH!

...eee...a rec. Of course it is okay...it's beyond okay...it's super. I love fic rec journals. Because...well...see above mention of lack of time. If and when I read fic (rarely, as I always feel my own readers and my companion breathing down my neck for quicker updates and money making writing)...I always go to the fic recs and pull something yummy. So...now...I will add you to the friend's list...but I won't stop by very often...so if you have big news for me*, let me know.

Lol well of course that's fine! It's always great to review people's fics because of their reactions as someone has really enjoyed their fic and wants to share it with the world.

Its okay, we've all got things to do with our time, sadly it can't all be spent on LJ :'(

My journal is sort of a track of fanfics I read and then a fair review of them so you can make up your own mind. Not a lot of rec's these days are honest about the stories really. I'll be sifting through the set of fics I have stashed away that are really good reads for reccing soon. This one included :D

I will tell you that Swankkat has been taunting me with never-before-scene photos of the Doctor and Rose...and lured by the prospect of unseen footage I have been lingering on LJ. But now...I am satisfied...I have seen the clips and they are adorable.

Of course, it has its downsides, like knowing exactly when certain beloved stars are going to leave the program. *sniff*

From what I recall, they are ad libbing - which apparently led to some intense debate, because someone SWORE they heard the Doctor tell Rose "I love you." and she replied something like "Yeah, you do."

I think in the end, they were ad libbing about seeing Sarah Jane, but I'd like to pretend the former actually occurred.

I came for BSG fic and just can't seem to give up hope that one day, in the far distant future you'll have a lapse and it will suddenly appear. Until then I enjoy your lovely Doctor Who rants and sometimes even try and really like Ten. just because you adore him. I'm slowly caving...

As for anything I'd like you to see, I did post my reasons for why I love Lee and Kara if you ever feel like trying to get back into them but absolutely no pressure. :)

Well, for what it's worth, I've been very into the whole "track people via the LJ track function," rather than friending people lately, so I've been tracking your public posts now for a few weeks/months (even commented on one a few weeks back).

And while I haven't read your latest Disheveled chapter yet (trust me, I'm extremely excited to; I just haven't had the time), you completely made my day when I saw you had updated it. :)

Ten is love...but Nine is dead sexy

So...I don't mind if you are a Nine fan. I popped over to your journal and did, indeed, look at your reasoning. And I agree with it, too. It's very odd to me that I believe Kara and Lee love each other...and I believe the Doctor and Rose love each other. I do think that the Doctor and Rose represent something we so rarely see on TV or in movies: a healthy couple.

Kara and Lee...not so much with the healthy. In fact, way down with the unhealthy. I'm pretty sure they aren't ever going to finish up in believable fashion...because I doubt Ron Moore wants to put that much work into healing their wounds...so we will probably get the usual last ditch effort to unite them before cancellation...ala Remington Steele and Laura in the final episode. A sort of bandaid on the whole gaping, festering ulcer of it all. And that's a real shame because Kara and Lee uniting realistically would make some damned fine television.

Yes...SIGH...I know...Minotaur is waiting for me.

Thanks for still remembering who I am...and for enjoying my Doctor Who rants. You DO like NINE, right? If so...Suicide Blonde is nice. And maybe I'll do a Nine/Rose fic about his time in the mental hospital.

I'm delighted you think so highly of my work. Hopefully, you will still be as pleased at the end (coming soon). I would hate to be demoted to 8 stars. Though, I will say that was what I was expecting. There are so many really fantastic DW writers, that I tend to feel a bit intimidated. Wendymr, Chicklit73, my buddy Aibhinn who you reviewed, too. So many others...I wish I got out more to read and comment.

This is news. I didn't even know that could happen. I have a paid journal...why am I not tracking people? Not that I WOULD take time to track people. But it does sound more efficient than my current method of ignoring my fanlist until I am prodded to read it.

As for Disheveled Part 14...I'm happy to hear you are excited. Lots of people seemed to have skipped this one...or not had time to comment...but it doesn't advance the plot much so I can't say there's any hurry. The next part we are back to me and original plotting. Also, smut, I believe was mentioned by my muse. ;->
