Yes! I thought to myself, what do people expect from Jackie. And generally, I think they expect her to be troublesome and irate. But, there are times when Jackie has very calm, firm ideas. And, I also thought, she might be like An Idiot Abroad...simply not impressed with alien worlds. That would be a new experience for the Doctor, who lives to impress others.
And, yeah, the more I thought about all of the questions we have from JE onward...through Moff's run, really, the more I thought that we could solve them all if the Doctor was being manipulated by a higher power. I just decided that higher power would be Rose, via her Bad Wolf energy. Also, I truly want to put all of the Rose/Doctor cravings behind us...so the show can go forward. But you can't do that with all of this baggage they keep piling around it. I don't buy River as an alternative love interest, I never did. I don't buy that the Doctor is a God. I don't understand why the Woman in White exists...from Gallifrey or whatever. Nor, do I believe Rose would have seen all of time and space, seen the Doctor do what he did to Donna...and go the cowardly way he has gone...and do nothing to change that.
