This is a headline somewhere, so I'm sure everyone but me saw it long before this.

Apparently, the Old Spice manly man is taking requests on Twitter for personal messages. And some hapless dude asked him to purpose to the hapless dude's lady.

He complied, in hilarious fashion.

Also, it appears that celebrities are also sending him tweets. Alyssa Milano in particular has started up a conversation that has escalated.

I must say, I love this guy. I also loved the riff they did on his "look at your man, now back at me" during the Psych out in the season premiere. And wasn't that a great season premiere? I was amazed to learn that it was hastily written, because another script didn't past production talks. There were so many clever moments. All the shout outs to assorted Jackie Chan movies. Gus offering the ultimatum that he must have 3 days prior notice of any weird identities...in writing. And Gus doing the lawyer bit..."Words keep coming out of my mouth and I can't stop them."

Oopsy, I was drinking while I watched that second video. Now where's a towel?...

He was on Good Morning America yesterday as a result of a conversation he had with George Stephanopolos via Twitter. He did the interview (via Skype) shirtless. This man is awesome. Moreover, Old Spice really scored a coup because they're suddenly cool and relevant again. Take that Axe and your stupid misogynistic adverts!

I know. I love that they are so playful on that show. Roday saying that he and Dule fancy themselves singers...so they sing. One of my favorite Psych outs is the one where Julia tries to join in to "I want it that way" and they keep elbowing her out of the way.

And the Private Eyes commercial they did with the entire cast.

I know. It really is a great ad campaign. Kudos to the actor and the concept artists and writers. And it is very much a swing at the misogynistic Axe campaign. Someone knows that the ladies are the ones who buy the scented products in a household.

"The next step is wildly obvious...to you...because you are a woman...so tell me what to do next."

LMAO!

Loved the Private Eyes commercial. :) Sometimes the Psych outs are my favorite parts of the episodes.

Also, that icon made me go reread Wild Geese 1.

Getting ready, are you? And yet, my icon self doesn't seem to be doing so well with the second part. Still, am giving it my attention, so perhaps something will come of that.

I love Psych. It shames me to admit it because everyone I know in RL thinks it is such a silly, silly show. I agree that it is. It's not well written. The actors are great but they are seldom challenged by the material. And I have no desire to ship anyone or fanfic for the show. I just enjoy the light fun of it all. It's like having a beer after a long day. I would much rather watch Shawn and Gus have a good time hunting pirate treasure than tolerate the CSI gang hunting the next season's serial killer.
