Revisiting An Old Doctor Who Ficlet: Strawberries

Most of my regular readers will have read this ficlet. But I was going back through my work, looking for something...and finding a little inspiration...and I came across this fix-it ficlet.

It is interesting that I address the Waters of Mars issue of forcing someone to live because he has that power...even though that episode hadn't aired at the time I wrote this story.

Anyway, I thought I would relink the story for those of you that might not have read it or for those who wanted to compare it to what we actually had as a finish. Summer is, after all, a time for repeats. :grin:

I just read part of your newest ficlet. I will be commenting soon on it, I hope. My arms are so very sore today that typing is agony. Also, hard to focus around the pain to make sense. But there is much to love in your newest offering as well. And thank you for the kind words about my repeat. Some things look better when you blow the dust off of them. :grin:

Oh how I miss your fanfiction and how I used to squeal at the top of my lungs. I need your master fic entry again so I can go back and read it all. This took me back when I first read this, amazing!

Seriously, thank you so much for telling me this. It gives me a bittersweet pang to hear of your squeal of delight over my posting of fic. I so wish my health would accommodate more fiction. I do manage a little bit at a time but I am now facing the pain and the brain fog...so I have trouble concentrating and it shows in the work. I've started the Wild Geese sequel...I don't know...20 times, but the writing is so subpar for me...I just give up. Still, we live in hope. So maybe one day I will post again.
