WARNING: This article will offend, I'm hoping, every last one of you. But I grew up surrounded by these morons and their rationalization for spilling such poison out into society.

The bathroom line really took me back to my childhood. It's like unearthing a t-rex fossil...only, instead of being happy, you suddenly realise it is infected with some species jumping previously extinct disease and you've touched it with your bare hands.

Dino-flu! Makes swine flu look wussy. Retro-Racism! We do not want it back in circulation. Someone spritz this moron with lots and lots of Lysol, make him choke on it.

Yeah, I read about that this week. It's disgusting. President Obama has seemed to do well, despite his concerns. The article must have changed because there's no bathroom line.

Though, I just learned that the old coot is an elected republican. I'm sure that's not the kind of PR they want. Still, color me shocked. /not

Yeah, I read about this yesterday.

I hope this man gets sued, sued hard, and gets his license revoked ASAP. In the meantime, my white sister and black husband will go on being happily married, thanks.

Ugh.

When I read this yesterday I was in such disbelief it was like this weird feeling of being torn at laughing at this guy's stupidity or crying over the fact that he really believes that's ok.

He's really not doing Louisiana's reputation much good is he?

We've had a couple of Registrars who've refused to carry out Civil Partnerships for gay couples (but who think they should be able to keep their jobs, despite not being willing to actually DO their jobs), but this kind of blatant racism feels very alien, happily.

I'm just hoping to one day read an article like that about a justice of the peace who refuses to marry a homosexual couple - an oddity, who is heaped with scorn and forced to serve the public, all of the public, without deciding who should receive his service.
