rabid1stIt is the end of so many Doctor Who joys at the same time. Russell is leaving. David is leaving. The entire production team is changing.
Though crew members and writers will remain, the dawn of New Who is at an end...time to get down to the rainy or sunny day of it all. And Outpost Gallifrey which is the best source of Doctor Who news on the web (Sorry, Official Site and Kasterborous) is closing up shop on July 31, 2009.
Yes, we must all move on sometime...but this is very sad news for me as I have been checking Outpost Gallifrey on a daily basis for years. It was founded in 1996.
How will I learn if the Doctor Who Movie is a go? How will I learn if Billie is in the movie? How will I learn if David is in the movie? Okay, probably The Sun will break all of that news next week :smirk: but the point is...I will need to find another trustworthy site to check on a daily basis.
Assuming...of course...that I get my Pony and go on with Doctor Who after Moffat takes over. It is sad to think that, like Outpost Gallifrey, I might also be on the brink of closing up shop on Doctor Who. I've been an avid fan of the Doctor since 1980. :grin:
