Dear LJ FListers;
There is good news on the Rabid homefront. The powers that be have declared me disabled. My case has been "fully approved" by the judge and I should start getting an income around the middle of May. YAY! Thank you all so much for your kindness and support during this very long struggle with the criminally absurd Disability system.
Also, for everyone who helped me find rain images and clips, I have a wonderful source, copyrighted by Chris Smith. Here is his video,
http://vimeo.com/1167935Kes is back. Most of you probably don't know Kes. But I am happy she's home safely.
We had a bit of doggy drama as my little niece's parents decided to give away their perfectly wonderful dog. They are not dog people and he is a terrier. His 3 year old bouts of natural exuberance were too much for them. Also, they thought he hated the child. He didn't bite her or growl, but he did shrink away from her. But, last week, he and the kid saved the day by being extremely cute and photogenic. The child piled all the pillows in the house on her parent's bed and then she and the dog went in there and jumped around and fell over and hugged one another while giggling and wagging tails and such. Daddy came running at all the commotion and was so charmed he broke out the camera. He decided they would get along with a little more time and patience.
And now...for my fearless Doctor Who predictions. I bet you thought we were long past those, huh? There will be spoilers under this cut. Basically, if you heard the news that Moff mentioned a few days ago...and you've seen the long S6 trailer...you are okay to hop under the link. If you are not aware of the major spoiler Moff let drop, don't look.
