Apparently, Eleven and Amy are taking the tour bus around to meet and greet the fans and remind them (the fans) that they must still watch the show even though David is gone. What I find LOL funny is that the link I was mailed, directing me to the article, was entitled, "Doctor Who Fever Sweeps the UK and US."

The article is about an upcoming bus tour to get people to watch the show by familiarizing them with Eleven and Amy, which is a good idea but might be better after the show airs than beforehand when we are all likely to feel a bit hostile towards him. Still, I suppose the new Doctor has always made his rounds of talk shows and radio programs pre-airing. What say you British folks...are you off to meet and greet the new TARDIS travelers as they bus in to your local mall and Tesco?

What I find less funny is all of my presets for David Tennant and Billie Piper news are sending me news of Matt Smith and what's her face. Way to add hits to your website profiles, people! Call it David Tennant News rather than Matt Smith or even Doctor Who news.

Apparently, a recent Oscar appearance by Judd Nelson has created a "Web Frenzy!" And led to some rather snippy fashion comments.

Personally, I think Judd sort of rocked a post Sherlock Holmes look in his Oscar night tribute. This goes along nicely with he and Robert Downey, Jr. being frequently mistaken for one another back in the John Hughes day. I call that irony and I bet Judd does, too. However, I must say that when Judd popped up on Psych a couple of weeks ago I LOLed. And perhaps there was something of a web frenzy among Psych fans over the episode. But none of us would dream of insulting the man or his wardrobe.

We are an intimate fandom that enjoys the ironic open pitching for Ax Body Spray for Men in the text of our show and also lives for obscure John Hughes film references. Every Psych fan is aware that Shawn Spencer has passed himself off as Judd Nelson. So we all consider landing Judd Nelson for a role in Psych to be a highlight of our viewing year.

Maybe we are not completely aware of how far down the alphabet from the C-List Judd has fallen in recent times. But we do love the guy and we don't really have to look him up online to remember how awesome he can be.
